Though LeBron James recently broke his all-time scoring record, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar still stands tall as one of the greatest players in NBA history.

Abdul-Jabbar’s on-court prowess and off-court legacy make his memorabilia among the most valuable and sought-after pieces in the hobby.

Goldin Co. has two game-used, autographed basketballs from two of Abdul-Jabbar’s final NBA games up for bid in its February Sports Elite Auction.

The six-time NBA champion and Basketball Hall of Famer held the NBA scoring record (38,387 points) for four decades before LeBron surpassed the historic mark on Feb. 7.

The final regular season game ball of Abdul-Jabbar’s incredible career has an opening bid of $100,000. The Spaulding ball, which is signed and inscribed by Kareem, was used to score the final points of his 1,560-game career.

Though the succession is complete and LeBron James is the new NBA scoring king, the world will forever remember Kareem’s time on the throne. If you’re a fan of basketball or history you won’t want to miss this.”
