Goldin, one of the hobby’s leading auction houses, is launching a private sales platform to offer clients another option for selling their sports collectibles.

The new platform allows clients to “make an offer” on items featured in the private sale showcase and supports client sales beyond an auction format.

“Goldin’s private sales platform offers collectors a new way to discover ultra-rare items and to bring iconic pieces to market, supported by Goldin’s expert curation and commitment to authenticity,” Goldin founder and CEO Ken Goldin said.

Goldin has set numerous records with the sale of sports cards and memorabilia, including the recent sale of a 2023-2024 Panini Prizm Nebula Victor Wembanyama card for $860,100, a record for any Wemby card.

Last year, Goldin made history with the record sale of Shohei Ohtani’s 50/50 home run ball for $4.3 million
