Fanatics launches Fanatics Collect marketplace for buying, selling cards, collectibles

Fanatics has added to its myriad of products and services for sports collectors by launching its own marketplace for buying and selling cards and collectibles.

Fanatics, the hobby's largest producer of sports cards and collectibles, took another step Tuesday toward its vision of being a one-stop-shop for collectors with the launch of new collectibles marketplace Fanatics Collect.

Fanatics Collect is designed to connect buyers and sellers of trading cards and memorabilia through fixed-price listings and auctions. It replaces PWCC Marketplace, which Fanatics purchased in May 2023 and closed last month.

“The launch of Fanatics Collect is the next step in our commitment to creating the best experiences for collectors,” Fanatics Collect CEO Nick Bell said. “We want to make it quick, easy, and fun for every collector to buy and sell cards, whether that’s instantly through the Buy Now marketplace or through the excitement of an online auction.”

Fanatics Collect’s Buy It Now marketplace will launch with a seller fee of 6 percent on all cards priced under $120.

Collectors will also be able to sell cards and collectibles through weekly and monthly auctions in addition to Monthly Premier auctions through it new partnership for live and online auctions Sotheby’s.

Following the closing of PWCC, Fanatics Collect also now has a vault for storing cards and memorabilia and has grading partnerships with PSA, CGC, Beckett, SGC, and MBA.

Fanatics Collect users will receive special partnership rates, including free access to PSA Collectors Club preferential pricing.
