Another rare #1/1 Logoman card featuring Michael Jordan has topped $10 million as two more modern basketball cards set records over the weekend.

Seven weeks after a #1/1 Jordan/Kobe Bryant Logoman card set the all-time sports card record at $12.9 million, another Logoman has reached eight figures.

The 2006-07 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection #1/1 Dual Logoman card of Jordan and LeBron was sold for $10 million, a record for a LeBron card and the third highest public sale of a sports card, trailing only the Jordan/Kobe Logoman and the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card that sold for $12.6 million in 2022.

According to Fanatics Collect, the card has been one of the most talked-about missing items in the hobby, “a true ghost.”

It was purchased by investors Kevin O’Leary of “Shark Tank,” Matt Allen (Shyne150) and Paul Warshaw of Secure Collectibles, the same group that purchased the record Jordan/Kobe card. According to Sports Card Investor, both cards will be part of the WonderShyne Index.

The group made another big splash over the weekend, purchasing a #1/1 2018-19 Flawless Luka Doncic Rookie Logoman Auto (Game-Used, Encased) for $4.7 million, making it the most expensive Doncic card ever. LeBron once held the basketball card record at $5.2 million, while Doncic's record card was $4.6 million.

With the Luka purchase, the investment group has now purchased more than $27.6 million in rare, high-end modern basketball cards in less than 60 days, according to Sports Card Investor.

And the group may not be done. It has stated previously that it intends to build a strong portfolio of rare, high-end cards.

“It’s going to be a part of an index that I’m going to continue to grow along with my partners,” O’Leary said of the record Jordan/Kobe card. “We look at it no different than our bitcoin holdings, our ethereum holdings, our gold holdings.”
