Mickey Mantle Book Giveaway
The Easton Press decided to take SCD's book Mickey Mantle: Memories and Memorabilia and turn it into a limited-edition, high-end hardcover book with a leather cover and fancy pages. We received a copy, and now we're giving it away to one lucky reader.
In 2011, Krause Publications produced Mickey Mantle: Memories and Memorabilia, a great book authored by SCD’s own Larry Canale. (It’s still available for just $10.79 at www.krausebooks.com, or call 800-258-0929 to order a copy).
Well, The Easton Press liked it so much they decided to take the softcover book and produce a limited run of leather-bound, high-end copies with the special gold-leaf paper. It retails for $135 on the company's website, www.eastonpressbooks.com.
