Memory Lane Inc. sold the only Gem Mint PSA 10 Rod Carew rookie card for $59,800 and a 1953 Topps PSA 8.5 Willie Mays for $34,500 as part of its I Own it Now catalog sale.

The two cards were among several items that sold quickly in the popular event when it opened last Thursday. However, as the company begins to open up the unsold lots to offers, there are other classic pieces that remain available.

More than 400 lots were offered at the start of the unique event and under the I Own it Now platform, they remain available for four days at fixed prices. Beginning Monday, July 1, any lots that aren’t sold will be open to offers from interested buyers.

Among the lots in the sale are numerous high grade vintage baseball, football, basketball and hockey cards as well as some classic non-sports cards and several pieces of high end sports memorabilia.

There are three different 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth cards, all graded PSA 8 (nm-mint), mint condition 1951 Bowman Willie Mays and Whitey Ford rookie cards, a 1948-49 Leaf Satchel Paige rookie card (near mint), a 1935 National Chicle Knute Rockne graded a sizzling mint 9, a pair of 1938 Goudey Joe DiMaggio cards, a 1933 Goudey Sport Kings Ruth, a 1986-87 Fleer Basketball card set completely graded Gem Mint, a mint 1948 Bowman George Mikan, single cards in high grade from numerous sets including T201, T3, 1933 Goudey, a huge collection of higher grade 1934-36 Diamond Stars, a 1948 Leaf #1 Sid Luckman (yellow background) graded PSA 7 and Sammy Baugh (red jersey) graded 7.5, signed checks and cuts from Ruth, Walter Johnson and Ty Cobb, a mint condition 1955 Yankees team signed baseball and a higher end single-signed Roberto Clemente baseball and many more.

Several PSA 9-graded Topps regular issue Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays cards from the 1960s were among the first to sell but other high grade Mantles remain.
