Historic Michael Jordan game-worn jerseys highlight Goldin Game Used Auction
Michael Jordan, as usual, has dominated hobby headlines recently, starring on a record-breaking Logoman card with Kobe Bryant and sending sets of 1986 Fleer Basketball cards soaring with his iconic rookie card.
Now the NBA legend is headlining another big auction, with iconic game-worn memorabilia highlighting Goldin’s Summer Game Used Auction, which opened Aug. 29.
The auction, which runs through Sept. 21, features a collection of game-used and signed items, including jerseys, sneakers and equipment tied to such legendary athletes as Jordan, Steph Curry, LeBron James, Shohei Ohtani, Barry Bonds, and others.
Jordan headlines the auction with two remarkable game-worn jerseys, including his earliest known Bulls jersey, which is photo-matched to the cover of Hoops magazine and the Bulls’ 1984–85 yearbook, which predates his NBA regular season debut. The jersey has a current bid of $325,000.
