Upper Deck may not have an NBA license for next season, but the company isn't abandoning the basketball card market. Information was sent to dealers last week for 2009-10 Upper Deck Draft Edition Basketball. The product is scheduled to feature autographs from the top prospects of next season.
Autograph content will include four autographs in every 16-pack box and one dual- or triple-signed card in every 12-box case. There will also be triple-signed Draft Class Signatures featuring top players drafted in the same year, and Alma Mater cards featuring signatures of stars from sports or celebrities with the college they attended.
There is no specific mention in the product information as to whether or not LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, or any of Upper Deck's other exclusive basketball spokesmen will be signing for the product.
