2019 Topps Transcendent Collection Baseball: The set is referred to as the pinnacle of high-end collecting and for good reason. That would be the $20,000+ price tag, similar to the price of the three previous years of the brand.
The Topps Transcendent Collection is limited to a production run of 100 total boxes with each coming with a VIP Event invitation with special guest Ken Griffey Jr.
Each box also includes 50 autograph cards from the company’s most notable signers (veterans, rookies and retired players), all sequentially numbered to 25 or less with each box delivering at least two unique 1-of-1 parallels.
The box inventory includes a complete set of 50 Transcendent Icons Base Cards, two 50-card sets of Franchise Favorite Reproductions, one 1-of-1 Derek Jeter Autograph Card, one 1-of-1 Autographed Patch Card or Autograph Bat Knob/Nameplate Book Card, one 1-of-1 Transcendent Franchise Favorites Sketch Card, one 1-of-1 Oversized Cut Signature Card or Oversized Letter Autograph Card and one 1-of-1 Autographed 1953 SuperFractor.
The Derek Jeter autographs are on all vintage Topps designs spanning from 1952-2019.
The list of cut signatures described as “a dazzling array of collectible subjects” includes the likes of Barak Obama (44th President of the U.S.), Brigham Young (religious leader and politician), Burt Reynolds (actor), Charlie O. Finley (baseball owner), Cy Young (MLB great), Florence Griffith Joyner (track and field star), Frank Robinson (MLB great), George H.W. Bush (41st President of the U.S.), George W. 2019-20 Black Diamond Hockey: Black Diamond is the first product of the year to feature an extensive selection of premium and autograph cards. Look for the 70-card base set that includes 60 active superstars and 10 legends.
Utilizing the 1996-97 Black Diamond base design, the 30-card checklist is scheduled to include legends, current stars and new rookies. Silver on Black Signatures is one of many autographs inserts to chase. And look for the rare Spectrum parallels.
Black Diamond is synonymous with the diamond relic card, so look for a selection of 50 veterans with Diamond Relic cards #’d of 5 feature 1-4 diamonds per card, plus Pure Black Diamond 1-of-1 parallels. One of the first high-end rookie cards to hit the market is the Diamond Relic Rookies.
The box breakout average is five Black Diamond Cards and one exquisite bonus card. It’s set for a Nov. 27 release.
2019 Bowman Draft Baseball: Scheduled for a Dec. 4 release, the 2019 Bowman Draft Baseball will continue to be the first MLB-licensed cards of the 2019 MLB Draft class that are available to the public. The Jumbo Box features three on-card chrome autographs per box, along with a mix of new insert content and base cards of top MLB Draft picks.
The base set includes 200 subjects, each with an assortment of paper and refractor parallels.
Washington Nationals Topps Now World Series set: Celebrating the Nationals’ first World Series title, Topps presents a commemorative team set that includes 10 base cards from the 2019 World Series champs or a 20-card Collector’s Edition.
