Universal Rarities undergoes transformation

After three years and a myriad of successful auctions Universal Rarities is undergoing a transformation. As of January 31st, the partnership entity that formed Universal Rarities has been dissolved. Universal Rarities’ majority partner (Tom Riccio) and Jeff Woolf had a meeting at the beginning of the year and felt their business paths were pointing in separate directions. That being said, Universal Rarities clients will now be served by Iconic Memorabilia and Iconic Memorabilia Auctions. The initial auction under the Iconic Memorabilia brand will be held May 16th. It is actively seeking consignments of sports memorabilia, sports cards, historical, music and entertainment memorabilia. The consignment deadline for the upcoming sale is March 21.
