SCP Auctions is proud to present three highly important Mickey Mantle memorabilia items from the early portion of his Hall of Fame career.

1952 Mickey Mantle Autographed New York Yankees Game-Worn Home Jersey –
One of The Earliest Mantle Gamers Extant (MEARS A7.5)
In 1952, one year removed from a bumpy injury-marred rookie season, Mantle began to emerge from the shadow of a now-retired Joe DiMaggio and earned his first of 14 consecutive All-Star nods as he hit .300 and belted 23 home runs. The jersey is breathtaking in its presentation, enhanced all the more by the bold, oversized vintage Mantle autograph on the front left tail. Is difficult to overstate the magnitude of a signed and game-worn Mickey Mantle Yankees home jersey from 1952, however we feel safe in classifying it among the finest artifacts known from arguably the most beloved figure in modern baseball history.

Mickey Mantle’s First H&B Professional Model Bat – One of Two From Mantle’s First H&B Order on September 29, 1950, and Possibly His First Bat Used as a Yankee (PSA/DNA GU8)
This incredible find is one of the most significant pieces of Mantle memorabilia we have ever encountered. It can only be described as Mantle's first bat as a member of the New York Yankees. H&B factory records show that Mantle ordered his first two signature model bats from the company on September 29, 1950, coinciding with his first joining the Yankees. This is one of those bats. One of the first bats Mantle ever held in his grasp as a newly minted New York Yankee, it easily ranks among the finest game used baseball treasures in the world.

1956 Mickey Mantle Player of The Year Award Plaque From Mantle’s Estate Collection (Mantle Family LOA)
Mickey Mantle's Triple Crown season in 1956 put an end to all debate about baseball's predominant figure during the golden era of the 1950's. It also marked the first of Mantle’s three MVP seasons and arguably his greatest single season in terms of offensive production. Presented here is Mickey Mantle’s 1956 Player of the Year Award from the adoring sportswriters of the New York Chapter of the BBWAA. Originally sold as part of the famed Mickey Mantle estate auction in 2003, this is one of the most significant Mantle awards offered publicly in the dozen years since that sale.
