Mahovlich leads Classic Collectibles-Quebec power
Classic Collectibles-Quebec most recent auction, which featured the Frank Mahovlich Collection, proved to be popular with hockey collectors. The 112 Mahovlich lots in the auction sold for more than $140,000. The item receiving the most interest was Mahovlich's red 1972 Canada-Russia Series game-worn uniform, which received 20 bids and sold for $22,627.
This slightly surpassed Mahovlich's early 1960s Toronto Maple Leafs game-worn wool jersey, which received 15 bids and sold for $21,436.
