Hobby veteran Lew Lipset has been out of the auction game for about one year, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t spend his downtime accumulating his usual assortment of prewar and vintage rarities, sets, new discoveries and more.

His latest auction can be found at oldjudge.com and ends Nov. 6. Lipset’s sale features a complete run of the 1867-68 Ballplayers Chronicle; a rare Lone Jack card; N28 Allen & Ginter set of 50; Hastings Print of the 1888 Boston team; more than 25-30 cards from N43, N162, N172, N173, N284 and N300 and more in the 19th-century card category.

In addition, Lipset said his sale will offer the best autograph section he’s had in a long time, with 20 autographed lots including Babe Ruth, Cy Young, Nap Lajoie, Grover Alexander, Honus Wagner, Tris Speaker and Bobby Jones.

Lipset’s postcard section features 26 lots including 11 PC773 Detroit Free press including Cobb, a Van Oeyen real photo Lajoie, a Thum movie postcard of Joe McGinnity, three team postcards of the Pirates and more. He also mentioned a Rose postcard of Honus Wagner and two early real photos with Ruth and more.
