eTopps is offering an 18-card eTopps Mickey Mantle Mantle set featuring reprints of Mantle's Topps base cards from 1952-69, including cards in the style of the 1954 and 1955 sets in which Mantle did not appear. Production of these sets is limited to 999, with each set sequentially numbered. The sets are only available on eTopps beginning today through Dec. 4.
The price per set is $198. Each card will be placed in the buyer's online eTopps portfolio separately at $11 per card, where they can be sold or traded. Buyers can also have all or part of the set shipped to them. Each box set will come with a letter of appreciation signed by Mantle's sons, Danny and David.
Buyers who request delivery between Dec. 4-31 will receive a discounted shipping rate of $14.99 per set and each card is guaranteed to have matching sequential numbers. Sellers who request delivery after Dec. 31 will be subject to regular shipping costs, and eTopps will not guarantee that every card in the set has matching sequential numbers. Topps says it expects to have all cards shipped by early April.
