Donruss Playoff teams with Pepsi for National Conv

Donruss Playoff has teamed up with Pepsi to produce a limited edition trading card set for the National Sports Collectors Convention. This year's National will be held Aug. 1-5 at the I-X Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Those bringing a special Pepsi coupon to the National will receive the set free, courtesy of Donruss/Playoff and Pepsi.

Pepsi will be producing a special poster featuring the coupons. The posters will be displayed in grocery stories throughout the state of Ohio, starting July 1st. The promotion will run thru the month of July, leading up to the first day of the National, August 1st. The coupons will only be available at participating grocers and no purchase is necessary.

"We are extremely excited to be partnering with Pepsi in Ohio on this promotion," said Donruss Playoff Marketing Director Scott Prusha. "This is a great way to reach new collectors and introduce them to the premier event in the industry, the National."

The set features four of the top rookies from this year's exciting draft class, including Cleveland's own Brady Quinn. Quinn will be joined by Donruss Playoff poster boy Adrian Peterson, Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson and former USC standout Dwayne Jarrett of the Carolina Panthers. Rounding out the set will be Dallas Cowboy quarterback, Tony Romo and St. Louis wide receiver, Torry Holt.
