Biggest Unopened Product Selection to Date for Collect Auctions
Unopened wax, cello and vending boxes; some amazing signed books and baseballs; and a few historic scorecards highlight Collect Auctions’ next sale that kicks off Nov. 16 and ends Dec. 3.
A sampling of arguably the most impressive auction lineup of unopened products includes: 1981 Topps Baseball unopened vending case, 1971-72 Topps Basketball vending box, 1973 Topps Baseball 4th Series unopened wax box, 1974-75 Topps Hockey unopened wax box, 1978 Topps Baseball unopened wax and cello boxes, 1977 Topps Mexican Football unopened wax box, 1974 Topps Football unopened wax box, 1975 Topps Football unopened cello box, 1980 O-Pee-Chee Baseball wax rack pack and 1980-81 Topps Basketball unopened wax pack graded PSA 8 with Bird/Magic/Erving on the back.
In addition, the lineup also includes many more 1970s vending boxes from all sports and an impressive assortment of late 1970s and early 1980s Topps and O-Pee-Chee Hockey wax boxes.
This auction will also include three really unique original scorecards, with Barry Bonds’ 500th home run game, George Brett’s 3,000th-hit game and Kirby Puckett’s six-hit game. Both dugout scorecards are included and signed by both managers for the game.
There’s also huge collection of rare single-signed baseballs, including Edd Roush, Ted Lyons, Waite Hoyt, Joe Cronin, Dr. Mike Marshall, Sal Maglie, Roy Campanella, Dave McNally, Andy Messersmith and Burleigh Grimes.
Other highlights include complete sets from 1953 Topps, 1954 Bowman, 1955 Bowman and 1955 Topps Baseball, as well as 1986-87 Fleer Basketball. Other top-flight collections are a Willie Mays 1965-68 Louisville Slugger bat graded MEARS A7, Lou Gehrig and Bump Hadley dual-signed photo, Babe Ruth high-grade cut signature, two one-of-a-kind 1969 New York Mets team-signed items and signed books from Curly Lambeau, Vince Lombardi, Rocky Marciano and Pete Maravich.
