Signed items join unopened packs, boxes in Collect Auctions’ November sale

Collect Auctions is hosting an auction that includes a plethora of items including plenty of unopened trading card products and autographs.

As one would expect, unopened packs and boxes of cards are prominent in the November auction hosted Collect Auctions.

Leading the way is a 1973 Topps Baseball 4th Series wax box. Other wax boxes of interest include: 1975 Topps Baseball cello box, 1970 Topps Football 1st Series vending box, 1972 Topps Football 1st Series vending box, 1972 Topps Football 2nd Series wax box, 1975 Topps Football cello box, 1972-73 Topps Basketball wax box, 1971-72 Topps Hockey vending box, 1976 Topps Baseball vending box, 1977 Topps Baseball vending box, 1979 Topps Football Rack Pack box from sealed case, 1986 Topps Football rack box, 1987-88 Fleer Basketball wax box, and a 1972-73 Topps Hockey vending box.

There are a number of signed baseball cards offered from the 1952 Topps set, led by #1 Andy Pafko (PSA 1.5). Other 1952 Topps signed baseball cards include: #117 Sherm Lollar (PSA 1-MK), #36 Gil Hodges black back (SGC1.5; AUTO 6), #130 Sheldon Jones (PSA 1; AUTO 10), #135 Dixie Howell (PSA 2), #155 Stubby Overmire (PSA 2), No. 188 Clarence Podbielan (PSA 2), #294 Walker Cooper (PSA Authentic), #302 Max Surkont (PSA 1), #309 Jim Busby (PSA 1.5), #357 Smoky Burgess (PSA 2-MK), #369 Dick Groat (PSA 2), #400 Bill Dickey (JSA/SGC), #306 Lou Sleater (PSA 3), #343 Dick Gernert (PSA 1), #346 George Spencer (PSA 2), and #404 Dick Brodowski (PSA 2).

A Babe Ruth single-signed baseball headlines the selection of autographed baseballs in the auction. Other signed baseballs of note include a Joe DiMaggio single-signed OAL baseball inscribed “HOF 55” and a Mickey Mantle single-signed OAL baseball.

Other signed items sure to draw a lot of attention from collectors includes a DiMaggio signed 16x20 framed photo, 500 Home Run Club signed print with Mantle, Derek Jeter signed Kalamazoo High School jersey, Jeter signed Columbus Clippers jersey, Mel Ott and Roy Johnson signed album page, and an Ott cut signature photo display in frame.

• Babe Ruth single-signed baseball (BAS)

• Pedro Martinez 2008 game-used Mets jersey (MLB)

• Extremely rare 1961 Post Cereal “Spinning Wheel” double-sided store advertising display with Mays autograph

• 1939 Hillerich & Bradsby large advertising sign

• 1924 Notre Dame vs. Army Football Program from “Four Horsemen Game”

• Morten Andersen circa 1995 game-used and signed Falcons jersey

• 1986-87 Fleer Basketball complete set (132) with stickers with Michael Jordan RC BGS 9

• Arnold Palmer signed 1964 Masters badge (PSA/DNA).
