Butch Jacobs Shares Details Behind Topps Basketball Cards

Topps used an old photo of Ron Kramer in his University of Michigan helmet. Fellow Wolverine Jack Clancy showed off his Dolphin helmet (sans chin strap) in his 1968 card. Scott’s 1971 Dolphin helmet was airbrushed, but didn’t look too bad. Fred Cox’s 1977 airbrushed Viking helmet looked strange.
