Baseball legend Ty Cobb was at the peak of his career when the famous T206 tobacco cards were released.

From 1909-11, Cobb led the American League in batting, hitting .419 in 1911 to win the AL MVP.

Heritage Auctions has an impressive array of rare graded Cobb cards in its eighth installment of The David Hall T206 Collection, which is up for bid through April 14.

Among the 437 lots are three highly sought-after Cobb cards:

• A 1909-11 T206 Piedmont 350 Ty Cobb (Bat Off Shoulder), graded PSA NM-MT 8. It is one of only 60 examples with a “Piedmont – 350 Subjects” on the back and one of only two with a PSA 8 grade, the highest known to exist. It is expected to sell for at least $100,000.
