Pujols signs autograph exclusive with UD Authenticated

Albert Pujols is one of the most popular players in all of baseball, and not surprisingly, his autograph is also one of the hardest to acquire. Upper Deck Authenticated will make the search a bit easier, announcing last week that it has signed the Cardinals star to an exclusive autograph and memorabilia contract.

"Albert Pujols shares the same vision for his memorabilia as we do, to develop exclusive autographed authenticated pieces for his family, friends and fans," said Tim Muret, vice president for Upper Deck Authenticated. "Pujols has had many big moments on and off the field, it is our goal to capture those moments in time and create the ultimate, unique, authenticated memorabilia pieces."

Products include signed 16-by-20 photos with "WS 06" inscriptions, signed Cardinals home jerseys with World Series patch, a signed World Series baseball, signed Cardinals batting helmets and a "Breaking Through" autographed framed piece.

Portions of the money collected will go to the Pujols Family Foundation - a charitable initiative dedicated to people with Down Syndrome and impoverished families in the Dominican Republic.
