PSA fine-tunes process for storing, selling or shipping cards and collectibles
Card-grading company PSA has made it easier for collectors to automatically vault, sell or send home cards and collectibles once they enter the authentication or grading process.
With one click, collectors can now choose what they would like to do with their individual items once they start to go through PSA’s authentication and grading process. Customers now have the flexibility to select which items they want to store in the PSA Vault, which to auction through the Goldin marketplace and which to have shipped back to them. The refined system allows customers to pick and choose which options are best for them for each card or collectible. Previously, customers were required to ship entire orders to the Vault or to their homes.
According to PSA, the PSA Vault is the easiest, fastest and most seamless way to grade and sell cards. It is protected by 24/7 security and offers climate-controlled environments. There are no storage fees or shipping costs when sending collectibles to the PSA Vault from PSA. Customers can also manage their vaulted cards via the PSA mobile app or within “My Collection.”
PSA is also offering collectors the option to list individual items for sale in Goldin’s weekly auctions. Collectors can use their “My Orders” page to choose which cards or collectibles to sell on Goldin. Items up for sale can be managed on the Goldin website using a Collectors ID login, which is a single sign-in and password that conveniently works across PSA, Goldin, PSA Vault and PCGS.
“We want to take the work out of collecting to allow customers to focus more on what they love about the hobby," PSA President Ryan Hoge said. “By integrating these services in one place, we are creating the easiest way to enjoy collecting. We’re always looking for new ways to reduce friction and create a more powerful experience for everyone – whether they are a casual collector, die-hard hobbyist or a collector looking to sell their cards."
