New Upper Deck Connor Bedard cards highlight National Hockey Card Day
With Connor Bedard leading all rookies in scoring and his rookie cards in high demand, the NHL’s top young star will headline National Hockey Card Day on Saturday, April 13.
With Bedard’s 2023-24 Upper Deck Series Two Young Guns rookie card still in high demand, Upper Deck is releasing a special 2024 National Hockey Card Day set that features three new Bedard cards.
Upper Deck, the official card company of the NHL, founded National Hockey Card Day in 2009 as a celebration of hockey and the joy of collecting hockey cards. On April 13, participating retailers will offer free NHL trading cards to collectors and hockey fans worldwide.
“Now in its 15th year, National Hockey Card Day has become a cherished tradition for hockey fans and collectors around the world,” said Paul Nguyen, senior marketing manager at Upper Deck. “This year, as the excitement around rising stars like Connor Bedard continues to grow, we're excited to offer fans the opportunity to celebrate their favorite players, love for the game, and build their collections.”
