Prospects Added to Trade Conference Lineup, Cards, Too
Brandon Tate, former wide receiver for the University of North Carolina, and another top prospect in this year’s NFL Draft, will appear at the opening reception of next week’s Hawaii Trade Conference/Mainland Edition.
Tate joins former Boise State RB Ian Johnson as the two players who will meet and greet attendees and sign autographs during the reception. Tate and Johnson’s appearances are sponsored by Bayou State Sportscards in conjunction with SportsDreams LLC.
The opening reception takes place Monday evening, from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Innisbrook Resort’s Island Pool.
Michael Crabtree Cards
Speaking of NFL Draft prospects, Panini America recently completed a signing session with former Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree. Five of those signed cards will be randomly distributed among the others being handed out during the company’s roundtable session with retailers on Tuesday afternoon. Crabtree is expected to be a high first-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Business Card Center
Packing a handful of business cards is customary for anyone attending a trade show, but attendees of next week’s Hawaii Trade Conference/Mainland Edition event in Palm Harbor, Fla., may want to bring a few more cards than normal.
BCW Diversified will again provide a Business Card Center as part of its sponsorship for the 24th annual conference. The BCW Business Card Center will consist of three free-standing displays, each having 88 compartments that accommodate approximately 50 business cards. All told, the display will hold more than 13,000 business cards.
The use of the Business Card Center is provided free to attendees. Licensors, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, publishers, athletes and show promoters are all encouraged to bring plenty of business cards to participate. The Business Card Center will be located within Stirling Hall, where all of the conference’s business programming will take place.
In addition to providing the Business Card Center, BCW will also provide business card wallets to allow attendees to organize the business cards they accumulate from the BCW Business Card Center.
