While Ohio-based Hartland Collectibles, LLC is being dissolved through Chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation, Hartland of Ohio will continue to produce collectible figures.

While that may sound confusing, Harland of Ohio manager Fay Halliwell says the bottom line is that customers of the company won’t notice a difference in what’s being made available.

“Anything produced in 2008 has been produced under the corporate name of Hartland of Ohio,” Halliwell said. “Those items were not part of the bankruptcy. The bankruptcy only affects Hartland Collectibles, and the bankruptcy covers debts through the end of 2007.”

Items such as Minnie Minoso and Milt Pappas figures, as well as items depicting the U.S. Women’s Soccer team were among those produced by Hartland of Ohio and are still available. Customers can still view and purchase current products online via the same web address, www.hartlandcollectibles.com.

“We want our customers to know that we’re still in business,” Halliwell said. “There have been no changes, as far as they’re concerned, and all orders are secure.”

Hartland Collectibles, LLC filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this month, listing assets of $32,000 and liabilities of more than $721,000.
