Enjoy Celebrity Autographs? Try the Hollywood Show
Celebrating its 29th anniversary, the “Hollywood Show” is set to start 2014 in style with its first of four quarterly events on Jan. 4-5. The Hollywood Show and show co-owner Leaf Trading Cards proudly present more than 70 celebrity guests who will be making autograph-signing appearances at the Loews Hollywood Hotel on North Highland Avenue.
“If you’ve ever felt the thrill of getting an autograph in person from a celebrity, whether it was a chance meeting in a parking lot, or a shopping mall or even at a restaurant, than this is your chance to relive that thrill with more than 70 Hollywood stars,” said Leaf President Brian Gray. “The Hollywood Show provides a great opportunity for autograph collectors as well as TV and movie fans to meet many of their screen idols at one location.”
From staging a mini reunion of The Love Boat with Gavin MacLeod, Bernie Kopell and Jill Whelan on hand to bringing in first-time signers like Tim Conway, C. Thomas Howell and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, next month’s event promises to be memorable. Also on the docket will be five cast members from the hit teen sex-comedy Porky’s, including Scott Colomby, Tony Ganios, Mark Herrier, Dan Monahan and Cyril O’Reilly.
Besides Howell, who starred in ‘80s films like The Outsiders, Red Dawn and The Hitcher, other silver screen stars who will penning autographs include Danny Glover, Elliott Gould, Robert Hays, Sally Kellerman, Ralph Macchio and Fred “The Hammer” Williamson.
Show hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Daily ticket prices range from $20-$35 depending on whether or not you purchase a two-day ticket.
