Rare Babe Ruth cards have highlighted numerous vintage baseball card auctions over the years.

But few have featured a rare photograph that features a young Ruth and three other Baseball Hall of Famers.

Goldin’s 2025 Winter Vintage Elite Auction is highlighted by a 1915 Boston Red Sox team photo postcard that features Ruth and fellow Hall of Famers Tris Speaker, Herb Pennock, and Harry Hooper. Produced one year after Ruth’s 1914 Baltimore News rookie card, the rare paper artifact captures an image of the 1915 Red Sox team and marks one of Ruth’s first appearances on a baseball collectible. It has a starting bid of $130,000.

Also featured is a 1916 M101-5 Sporting News Blank Back #151 Babe Ruth Rookie card, one of the most highly coveted pre-war baseball cards in existence. Graded PSA 1.5, the card is one of the earliest known cards of Ruth with the Red Sox.
