Bowman Tom Brady 1/1 Superfractor baseball card hits market at Goldin

Topps released its highly-anticipated Tom Brady baseball rookie card on Dec. 12, and it didn’t take long for a collector to pull the coveted 1-of-1 Superfractor from a pack of 2023 Bowman Chrome cards.

The collector consigned the card to Goldin Co., which now has the 1995 Bowman Draft Picks Brady Superfractor up for bid in a stand-alone auction. The card features a young Brady in a uniform of the Montreal Expos, which selected him in the 18^th round of the 1995 MLB Draft.

Goldin estimates the autographed card could sell for more than $250,000.

The 2023 Bowman Chrome set features 81 Brady cards, including several autograph cards and Refractors. Among them are a 1/1 Superfractor and 1/1 autographed Superfractor.

Topps highlighted the December launch with a series of videos featuring Brady and former Expos and Baseball Hall of Famers Pedro Martinez, Vlad Guerrero Sr. and Larry Walker.

The 1/1 Superfractors are the most coveted cards in the set and are expected to become one of the top cards of the NFL legend and seven-time Super Bowl champion.

“This Superfractor is one in a million and the most valuable of all cards,” said Goldin founder and CEO Ken Goldin. “Topps went back in time and created this Tom Brady rookie card this year making it a true 1-of-1 and any Brady collector is going to need to get their hands on it.”

The autographed Brady Superfractor will be open for bidding in its own stand-alone auction until Jan. 13.
