Dave & Adam’s NYC store filled with iconic cards, signed memorabilia with museum-like feel
A collectibles industry giant for more than 30 years, Dave & Adam’s Card World hit a walk-off home run this season, opening an incredible hobby shop in the heart of New York City.
Just north of Herald Square Park, at 1350 Broadway (and 34th Street), sits the largest trading card store in New York City, a one-of-a-kind sports memorabilia and collectibles outlet that is, quite simply, amazing.
The 5,000 square-foot New York store has everything: sports cards, gaming cards, comics, autographed memorabilia, and much more.

Dave & Adam’s New York City location was years in the making, said Adam Martin, founder of Dave & Adams Card World. The NYC location opened in late-spring, but not before they loaded up on, well, just about everything a collector may want, including some of the best cards you will see in any store anywhere in the world.
Dave & Adam’s NYC features 300 unopened card boxes, with sports, non-sports and gaming. There are autographed baseballs, footballs, basketballs, hockey pucks, photos, jerseys, and more. Hey, there’s even a breaker’s section that is active almost 24 hours a day.
There’s plenty of Pokémon, too.
“We’re really pleased with how it’s turned out,” said Martin, who started in the hobby in 1975. “[The store] is much better than I expected.”
Me too, I’ll admit.
The quantity of cards is insane. Same goes for variety, not to mention the eye-catching signed memorabilia. Card collectors can spend $10 or $10,000.
The hottest of all in NYC is Pokémon singles, followed by Aaron Judge singles, and unopened baseball card boxes.
“We’re trying to grow this industry,” Martin said.
The clean, non-cluttered store has a museum-like feel. One wall of the historical Dave & Adam’s journey is a walk back in hobby history.
Prices are in line with prices for all Dave & Adam’s items as the NYC pricing is linked directly to the website. Though prices will fluctuate, they are reasonable.
“I want [the store] to just keep doing what it’s doing,” Martin said.
Dave & Adam’s has had special, in-store autograph signers, including former NBA great Derek Rose and current Yankees 1B/DH Ben Rice.
The breaker studio is active almost 24/7. Yep, even at 4 a.m., there are collectors inside breaking boxes of cards.
