Topps Offering Wall Art: 1970s-90s Baseball Card Archive Prints
So you collect Topps baseball cards? Are you looking for a new way to decorate your memorabilia room, too? Topps can make that happen.
The Topps Co. has created on a new line of wall art, the company’s first foray into the home décor category, that features baseball players from the 1970s, '80s and '90s.
Known as Archive Prints, they are modeled after the actual physical card from the Topps’ archives and then the artwork is painstakingly re-mastered by a team of designers. Every aspect of the print is designed to preserve the look and feel of the original card, from the printing pattern to the slightly worn edges.
Currently in a "soft" launch, Topps is offering all styles of cards from the three decade of many popular players from all of the Major League Baseball teams. Prices start at $64.99 and specfications include 17.25 by 21.35 inches framed or 23 by 31 inches unframed. Framed examples come with 2-inch flat wood or metallic frame and glare-resistant glass.
The pieces are available only through Topps. A full list of Archive Prints can be found here: http://www.topps.com/artwork.html.
