Fresh off becoming the youngest driver to win a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event June 28 at the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 in New Hampshire Motor Speedway, 19-year-old Joey Logano and Press Pass announced big plans for July.

Press Pass Series 2 will release on July 8 and feature exclusive gold-edition Press Pass Autographs (exclusive to Press Pass Series 2), as well as a retail exclusive, red edition numbered to 10. Race-used memorabilia cards consist of Tread Marks, autographed race-used tire cards numbered to 10; 2009 Daytona 500 race-used tire cards; and Four Wide multi-swatch cards numbered to 50.

On July 15, Press Pass Showcase will make its debut as the most upscale release in the history of NASCAR trading cards with $225 SRP per three-pack box. Showcase will deliver one autograph plus two race-used memorabilia cards of the sport’s premier drivers. Logano’s featured card will be the short-printed Premier Prospects rookie card, which is an autographed, race-used firesuit card.

There will be four levels that are differentiated by foil stamp color, sequential numbering and firesuit swatch. Additionally, Showcase will feature four levels of Elite Exhibit Ink autographs of Logano and other NASCAR superstars. Along with his autographed base cards, memorabilia cards include Elite Exhibit, Prized Pieces, Classic Collections and Four Wide versions that are exclusive to Showcase.

“With wins in NASCAR’s top two series, Joey has reached the next level,” said Tom Farrell, vice president of brand management for Press Pass. “His already hot collectibles should heat up like the Daytona pavement in July.” Collectors can find Sprint Cup rookie cards of Logano in all 2009 Press Pass and Wheels brand releases.
