A Kickoff to the Season: Topps Football 2012

Topps Football 2012 will be filled with rookies, Quarterback Immortals and more of what every collector wants – autographs.

For football fans, it's never too early to start thinking about the upcoming season. That said, Topps is already previewing its signature football card product for the year in Topps Football 2012, slated for release in early August.

Heck, we don't even know who the the rookies will be playing for yet (nor Peyton Manning), but Topps has reassured the masses the cards will have updated photography with the Rookie Card insignia like you have seen in the past. Also, all relics will be form authentic NFL jersey memorabilia.

The autographs are a special treat in this set base rookies autos, quarterback rookie reprint auto cards and 1965 and 1984 Topps Football-styled rookie hard-signed autographed cards.

New to the set is Quarterback Immortals – Celebrating the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game, from the gridiron heroes of the Hall of Fame to the field generals of today, with unique and incomparable designs of autograph, relic and commemorative relic cards. There will be one autograph or relic card in the QB Immortals line in every hobby box.

The 440-card base set will feature 110 rookies, 32 team cards and celebrating all of the major award winners from the 2011 season. Inserts include Paramount Pairs, Prolific Playmakers and In the Name relics, among others.
