A Full-Size Helmet With Your Football Cards? Leaf Delivers
Simple patches from balls, shoes, jerseys and bats isn't enough. Leaf Trading Cards is thinking bigger, and bigger, to collectors, is better. The ante has been upped: Leaf is packaging full-size replica helmets inside its latest release: 2013 Leaf Autographed Helmet Football.
“Not every collector wants his or her autographs strictly on trading cards,” said Leaf President Brian Gray. “And what better way to make an impact during football season than by packing out full-size helmets signed by the best players in the game?”
Leaf’s lineup of authentic, signed full-size helmets includes past and present superstars starting with Hall-of-Famers Walter Payton, John Elway, Jim Brown, Dan Marino, Joe Namath, Bart Starr, Joe Montana, Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Barry Sanders. Even Madonna, the halftime performer at Super Bowl XLVI, has signed a helmet commemorating her appearance in a rare artifact from the superstar.
Some of current NFL standouts included in Leaf’s assortment are former league MVPs Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers and Adrian Peterson, along with Drew Brees, Cam Newton and Robert Griffin III. Additional rare helmets that found their way into the product are a “2012 NFL Draft” logoed piece that boasts more than 20 players’ signatures from that year’s draft class (Andrew Luck, RG3, etc.) as well as a Dallas Cowboys triple-signed helmet that sports autographs from the “Big 3” in Big D: Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin.
Each box of 2013 Leaf Autographed Helmet Football will contain one full-size replica helmet signed by one or more of the game’s greatest legends, Hall of Famers, superstars or up-and-coming stars. All autographs are authentic.
