Upper Deck breaks par with return to golf cards
2021 Upper Deck Artifacts Golf
Upper Deck hasn’t done golf cards since 2014, but now it is planning three sets for 2021, including the first: Artifacts Golf.
The 50-card base set features golf’s brightest stars and iconic legends. Be on the lookout for the 30-card, serial numbered rookie subset.
The Artifacts Rookie Auto Mem insert set features autographs and tour-worn memorabilia from the game’s rising stars, including 2017 PGA Tour Player of the Year Justin Thomas. Search for the rare Gold Parallel and the ultra-rare Black Parallels, along with the equivalent Artifacts Stars Auto Mem insert set and parallels.
The Multi-Major Winners Memorabilia set features only players that have won multiple majors during their illustrious careers. The regular set and the premium parallel set feature a mix of player-worn and tour-worn memorabilia.
In Artifacts Golf, Upper Deck is bringing back its popular Black Diamond & Aurum inserts hockey fans know so well.
Black Diamond-Gemography is a revamped version of the classic autograph insert set that features a single diamond relic accompanied by the autograph of a current star or living legend. Look for three tiers with different numbering schemes.
In Black Diamond-Diamond Relic, each card features a top legend, veteran or rookie alongside 1-4 diamond relics. Keep an eye out for the Pure Black parallel cards.
Aurum is a set within a set featuring each player etched out in Gold Light FX. Look for rare Aurum Signatures and Aurum Signatures Dual chase cards with serial numbering.
Scratch Signatures is an autograph insert set with star veterans and rising stars such as Justin Thomas, Bryan DeChambeau and Collin Morikawa. Hole-in-One Remnants sports a diverse checklist ranging from star newcomers to legends of the game. The regular set and premium parallel set feature a mix of player-worn and tour-worn memorabilia.
The Big Drive Fragments set features many of today’s top male and female stars. The regular set and the premium parallel set feature a mix of player-worn and tour-worn memorabilia. Ball Marker Artifacts Autos is a unique insert set. Be on the lookout for rare autograph variations with low serial numbering.
Collect the special Course of a Champion Tiger Woods autograph insert set. Part of an overlay set, the first installment will be included in Artifacts Golf. Also, look for the first set of Legendary PGA Tour Course Relics cards featuring course-used sand and dirt from TPC Sawgrass, home of The Players Championship. Some cards will be autographed. Part of an overlay set, these first installments will be included in Artifacts Golf. Stay tuned for more products to be announced at a later date, and the opportunity to collect the complete set.
