2021 Leaf Lumber Kings Baseball

1Leaf-Lumber copy

Making a return after a popular debut in 2020, Leaf Lumber Kings Baseball features a variety of cards of current and past greats of the game accompanied by bat pieces.

Game Used Lumber includes some of baseball’s all-time sluggers such as Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays and Duke Snider. The 3,000 Hit Club features legends that are members of that exclusive club like Pete Rose, George Brett and Derek Jeter. Monster Mashed concentrates on sluggers who have hit the longest home runs in baseball history, like Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle and Willie Stargell.

Fall Classic is a six-player bat card set featuring participants in some of baseball’s most glorious World Series. Bench/Perez/Rose/Yastrzemski/Lynn/Fisk in 1975 or Carter/Hernandez/Strawberry/Clemens/Boggs/Rice in 1986 are examples.

Nostalgia rules the eight-player bat card set in Midsummer Classic, featuring legends of All-Star Games from the past, such as Musial/Mathews/Kluszewski/Snider/Mantle/Fox/Williams/Mize in 1953 or Morgan/Garvey/Cey/Schmidt/Fisk/Munson/Yastrzemski/Carew in 1974.

Bat Rack 3 and 4 highlights a dream three for any lineup and a fearsome foursome of lumber kings; Mathews/Killebrew/Snider and Mantle/Trout/Mays are among the former, Williams/Mantle/Musial/Mays and Griffey Jr./Martinez/Buhner/A-Rod are among the latter.

Super Teams is an eight-player game-used bats card featuring some of baseball’s most famous franchises and the stars that shined for them, such as Yankees: Ruth/Mantle/Maris/Jackson/Munson/Jeter/Williams/Posada; and Chicago: Sandberg/Santo/Herman/Williams/Grace/Sosa/Bryant/Dawson.

Signature Sticks 1, 2 and 3 features single, double and triple auto bat cards of baseball icons: Ken Griffey Jr., Rickey Henderson, Jeff Bagwell and Ryne Sandberg. Duos include Bagwell/Biggio, Tatis Jr./Acuna and Brooks Robinson/Cal Ripken Jr. Tremendous trios include Fisk/Rice/Lynn and Rickey Henderson/Bo Jackson/Ronald Acuna.

Among the many other categories: Nameplate, Dual Nameplates, Bat Knob (a 1-of-1), Off the End of the Bat (a 1-of-1), 3 Home Run Games, The Franchise 4, Late Round Legends, Legendary Lineup, Lumber Leaders, Lumber Numbers, Mount Crushmore, Nickname Fame, and 1,500 RBI Club.

There are four premium cards (relics or autos) per pack, one pack per box and 10 boxes per case. The release was scheduled for Jan. 29 or sometime in February.

2020 Panini Prizm Draft Picks Baseball

The year’s top draft picks and future superstars are featured in Opti-Chrome cards in Panini Prizm Draft Picks.

One of the best things about Prizm Draft Picks is all the parallels that come with it. Look for plenty of variety in this year’s product, with no shortage of options that collectors can hunt for, such as Base Tiger Stripes Prizm, Base Silver Prizm and Base Power Plaid.

Search for beautifully designed inserts called Power Surge Gold Prizm, Fireworks Autographs Silver Prizm and Thunder Struck Gold Vinyl, produced in a full rainbow of Prizm colors. Hunt for the autographs versions of these inserts as well.

College Ties Autographs feature two players drafted in different years but who starred at the same university. Prizm’s 70-card Autographs set showcases some of the most elite young talent on their way to the big show.

In addition to the rare Color Blast cards, Prizm has added two new case-hits called Electric College Stars and Electric DPL Stars.

Hobby configuration is eight cards per pack, five packs per box and 16 boxes per case with a box break of five autographs, five Silver Prizms and five numbered Prizms. The release was scheduled for Dec. 2.
