Ted Williams uniform fetches nearly $140K in Lelands auction
NEW YORK – A terrific Ted Williams 1954-55 Red Sox signed, game-worn uniform MEARS 10 sold for $139,714, an exceptional Roy Campanella Dodgers photo-matched, game-worn uniform from his 1955 MVP and World Series season netted $131,066, and a Zion Williamson 2019-20 Panini Prizm Gold rookie card fetched $118,261 in the Lelands 2020 Fall Classic Auction, which closed Dec. 11.
The auction also featured a 2003-04 Exquisite Collection Gold #78 LeBron James rookie card ($76,632), a Paul “Bear” Bryant personally owned and worn houndstooth hat ($73,486), a circa 1918 Babe Ruth Red Sox photograph by Charles Conlon ($42,966), a Reggie White Eagles signed, photo-matched game-worn jersey ($29,791), a circa 1918 Babe Ruth curveball grip glass plate negative by Charles Conlon ($40,920), and a 1935 Babe Ruth signed bat ($33,260).
Additional highlights include Michael Jordan’s 2002 Wizards signed, photo-matched, game-worn jersey from his final home opener ($53,705), a Ty Cobb signed T206 portrait photograph ($32,062), a Mickey Mantle 1968 Yankees signed, game-worn cap ($28,732), and a 2018 Bowman Chrome Prospects #21 Luis Robert "1/1" Superfractor ($92,756).
