Current auction hosted by Collect Auctions is loaded with cards and memorabilia

As is usual in a Collect Auctions sale, there are plenty of cards, autographs and memorabilia for collectors to chase after.

Collect Auctions is once again hosting an auction that will delight collectors of baseball cards, sports cards and sports memorabilia.

An item that is bound to receive a lot of attention is a 1933 New York Yankees team-signed baseball that includes the signature of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.

Other New York Yankees items in the auction include: 1953 New York Yankees World Champs Reunion team-signed baseball, New York Yankees greats multi-signed original Yankee Stadium seatback, and a 2011 Mark Teixeira game-used Yankees Mother’s Day jersey.

Chipper Jones and Jim Thome, both freshly elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, have items in the auction. The Jones item is a 1996 game-used and signed throwback Braves jersey, while the Thome item is a 2009 game-used White Sox Jackie Robinson Day jersey.

Plenty of baseball cards are available, led by a 1968 Venezuelan Topps Nolan Ryan rookie card graded PSA 5.5, the highest grade that card has achieved.

Other cards sure to draw attention from bidders include: 1968 Topps Milton Bradley Nolan Ryan rookie graded PSA 8, 1951 Bowman Willie Mays rookie graded SGC 5, 2018 Panini Shohei Ohtani Signing Day Signatures “1 of 1,” and 1993 SP Derek Jeter Foil rookie graded PSA 8.

Collectors on the hunt for the unknown have plenty of auction lots of unopened boxes and cases to contemplate chasing after. These unopened items range in years from 1971 to 1990. Bidding on these lots, collectors have the potential to pull a sought after rookie card.

A few of the unopened baseball highlights include: 1971 Topps Baseball 3rd Series wax box, 1973 Topps Baseball 4th Series wax box, and a 1975 Topps Baseball cello box just to name a few.

There is a plethora of unopened football cards product, led by a 1972 Topps Football 2nd Series wax box and a 1972 Topps Football 1st Series vending box. Other unopened football product includes: 1973 Topps Football vending box, 1975 Topps Football vending box, 1978 Topps Football cello box, 1979 Topps Football rack pack box, and 1980 Topps Football vending box.

Basketball hits the floor running with as many as 10 lots featuring unopened trading card products. Leading the way is a 1972-73 Topps Basketball wax box and a 1973-74 Topps Basketball vending box. Unopened Fleer Basketball is represented with one wax box each of 1987-88, 1988-89, and 1989-90 available in separate lots.
