Victor Wembanyama rises again with record $5.1M card
As we documented recently, cards of NBA superstar Victor Wembanyama have been surging as he led the San Antonio Spurs to the Western Conference Finals.
Now a Wemby card has set a record and emerged as one of the most valuable NBA cards of all time.
Fanatics Collect announced on Monday that it had brokered the sale of a 2023 Prizm Black #1/1 Wemby card for $5.1 million, a record for the most expensive Wembanyama card. The private sale is also the fourth highest NBA card sale of all-time and the most expensive non-autographed NBA card ever.
