Topps Chrome Updates feature first NBA Rookie Debut Patch Auto cards, colorful MinionFractors
Topps launched its highly anticipated 2025-26 Topps Chrome Updates Basketball set Thursday, headlined by the first-ever NBA Rookie Debut Patch Autograph cards.
Widely regarded as the hobby’s premier rookie cards, the 1-of-1 cards feature a player’s game-worn NBA Debut Patch from their rookie jersey. The checklist features top 2025-26 rookies Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, Kon Knueppel and Ace Bailey.

Each Hobby Box includes 20 packs with 4 cards per pack and one auto card. Hobby boxes retail for $549.99.
Other highlights include:
• MinionFractors. In partnership with Universal, NBA stars are transformed into minions in one of the product’s chase cards. The lineup includes stars Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokić, Flagg, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Shai Gilgeous Alexander.
• Other chase cards include inserts such as Glass Canvas, Captains, Helix, Radiating Rookies, and Denim Tears.
• Expanded autograph cards featuring fresh 2025 imagery, including City Edition uniforms and the first in-game shots of the rookie class, alongside 1980-81 Basketball Autographs showcasing updated stars like SGA, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Curry, Victor Wembanyama Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Jokić.
