Steph Curry’s cousin honoring his hero with special Curry card set
ROSEMONT, Ill.—Will Wade has lived a tough life, but he’s turned a corner.
After Wade’s cousin, Stephen Curry, captured his fourth NBA championship in 2022, it sparked an idea.
Wade is producing basketball trading card stickers of Curry through his Canvas Marketing company that celebrate an amazing Curry moment or accomplishment during the 2025-26 season. Wade tells a story on the card backs about the moment, conveying it to artist LuckyMong, who designs the card.
“I was really in the right state of mind. I was clean and sober,” said Wade, who lived with the Curry family when he was a teenager and his parents were in jail. “I felt in debt and I wanted a way to repay him. I don’t think he knows it yet, but hopefully he will know that what I’m doing here is writing his history as his brother sees it.”

Wade, who was showing off his new card sets at The National, wants his cousin’s legacy to live forever.
“I got this idea around the time they deleted Pete Rose’s history,” Wade said. “So, I wanted to archive Steph’s history in a way that was true to me and what corresponded to my reality of him being the greatest of all time.”
All of Wade’s Curry card stickers are numbered. The Stephen Curry To Be Continued Season 2 product, which is out now, features about 500-600 on-card autographs from Curry.
Each pack costs $50 and contains one card while each box goes for $350 with 10 packs. Each case, selling for $3,000, has 10 boxes and includes one guaranteed autograph.
