Shohei Ohtani’s 1/1 MVP Gold Logoman surfaces, headed to auction at Goldin
One of Shohei Ohtani’s most valuable trading cards as been pulled and is heading to auction.
Ohtani’s 1/1 2026 Topps MVP Award Winner Gold Logoman Auto card will headline Goldin’s upcoming Monthly Sports Elite Auction #8, which opens Aug. 21.

The Ohtani MVP Logoman is one of the premier chase card from the 2026 Topps Chrome Baseball release. It was pulled from a pick a few days ago and is expected to be one of the top sales among high-end Ohtani cards.
An Ohtani Back To Back Gold Logoman card, which honors players who have won back-to-back MLB awards, recently sold for $11 million.
Up for bid is the original, unused redemption card for the 1/1 Gold MLB Logoman Patch Auto card, which includes an authenticated Gold MLB Logoman patch. Because the redemption remains unclaimed, the winning bidder will have the opportunity to redeem it from Topps and receive the actual one-of-one card.
The gold MLB logo patches are featured on the uniforms of select reigning MVP, Cy Young, and Rookie of the Year winners. They are then authenticated and incorporated into limited series of Topps Chrome cards. Ohtani is featured as the 2025 National League MVP, alongside fellow award winners Aaron Judge (AL MVP), Paul Skenes (NL Cy Young) and Tarik Skubal (AL Cy Young).
