Redemption card for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Logoman tops $1 million at auction
On the heels of his second straight NBA MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s basketball cards continue to set records.
A redemption card for a 2025-26 Topps Chrome SGA Gold Logoman Autographed Relics Game-Used Patch Card sold for $1,061,400, a public sales record for an SGA card.

The unused redemption card was up for bid in the May Elite Auction at Goldin.
A rare card of another current NBA star also netted a six-figure sale, with a 2023-24 Panini Prizm Black Gold Victor Wembanyama Rookie card selling for $324,642.
Other big sales included: a 2018 Topps Chrome Sapphire Edition Red Autograph Shohei Ohtani Rookie card for $530,700; a 2017-18 Panini Impeccable Kobe Bryant signed card for $329,400; a 1934 Goudey Lou Gehrig signed card for $172,714; and a Nov. 28, 1983 Sports Illustrated Michael Jordan First Cover for $79,910.
The SGA gem was not the only basketball record-breaker in the auction. Other record-breaking sales include:
• A 2017-18 Panini Impeccable Stats Autographs #IS-KBR Kobe Bryant card (PSA 9) for $329,400, a record for the highest public sale of a Panini Impeccable card.
• A 2004-05 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Limited Logos Autograph Patch #LL-LJ1 LeBron James card (#30/50, PSA 6) for $233,020, the highest public sale for any 2004-05 Exquisite Limited Logos card.
• 2024-25 Panini National Treasures Treasured Tag Logoman #TTL-VWB Victor Wembanyama Patch card for $220,820.
• A 2014-15 Panini Flawless Greats Dual Memorabilia Autograph #GDM-KB Kobe Bryant Patch card for $209,230, a record for any Kobe Bryant Flawless card.
• 2025 Panini Prizm WNBA Gold Vinyl Prizm #5 Paige Bueckers Rookie for a record $184,830.
• 2024-25 Panini Eminence Brand Logo Autographs #EBL-CUR Stephen Curry Patch card for $183,000.
• 2025-26 Topps Chrome Red Refractor #251 Cooper Flagg Rookie (PSA 9) for $158,600.
• 2025-26 Topps Chrome Autograph Red Refractor #TCA-LBJ LeBron James card for $147,620.
• 1984-85 Star #101 Michael Jordan Rookie (PSA 7) for $136,640.
