Pete Crow-Armstrong has emerged as the new face of the Chicago Cubs, following up his outstanding first year in Chicago with an MVP-caliber second season.

After leading the 2025 Cubs with 31 home runs, 95 RBI and 35 stolen bases, PCA has followed that up with an even better 2026 season. With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, PCA is the NL MVP front-runner with 42 home runs, 102 RBI, 37 stolen bases and a league-leading 112 runs scored. He also leads the league with a 9.2 WAR.

PCA’s emergence as one of baseball’s top stars has sent his rookie cards soaring. His 2024 Topps Dynasty Gold #1/1 Rookie Patch Auto recently sold for a record $66,000, while other PCA Rookies have sold for as much as $50,000.

Now, his most coveted card is getting an auction of its own.

Goldin has opened a standalone auction for PCA’s MLB Debut Rookie Patch Auto. The auction, which runs through Sept. 29, features Crow-Armstrong’s 2024 Topps Chrome Update #1/1 MLB Debut RPA graded PSA 10 with a 10 autograph.

The MLB Debut Patch cards, which feature the Rookie Debut patch worn by each player for their first MLB game, are among the most sought-after and valuable chase cards in the hobby, with Paul Skenes’ 2024 MLB Debut Patch card topping $1 million. Topps has implemented similar programs for both NBA and NFL cards.

“This is the single best PCA card that will ever exist, bar none. It is the actual debut patch Pete Crow-Armstrong wore on his Major League debut,” said Ken Goldin, founder and CEO of Goldin. “He signed it brilliantly on-card, and PSA awarded it an immaculate 10 out of 10 grade—10 on both the card grade and the auto grade. I think this will be the single most valuable Topps baseball debut patch issued to date.”
