LeBron James cards have set records throughout 2021 and another high-end LeBron rookie card is now on the market.

PWCC Marketplace has a 2003 Exquisite Collection Limited Logos LeBron James autographed rookie card available in its December Premier Auction. The current bid is $340,000 but that number is expected to rise.

“This is probably the most popular insert from the 03 Exquisite set,” said Jesse Craig, PWCC’s director of business development. “Obviously everyone knows how important that set was for our industry, and it shaped the way cards are today.”

PWCC sold another version of the card in June for $480,000. Craig expects this one to rise even higher.

“This card specifically you don’t see sell very often,” he said. “Expect this one to definitely eclipse that. This is an opportunity to own one of those cornerstone pieces for your collection that just don’t hit the market very often. It’s a great piece.”

Another LeBron auto patch card from the Upper Deck Exquisite Collection sold for $5.2 million earlier this year, matching a 1952 Mickey Mantle card for the then-record for the top-selling sports card of all time.

The Exquisite Limited Logos RPA, which is numbered 58/75 and graded BGS 9.5, features a game-used patch from James’ Cleveland Cavaliers jersey. PWCC’s product description says the card has “preservation equal to a fine wine, boasting some of the best attributes you could ask for of the issue.”
