Hoops Heroes Gold Coins Offered by Highland Mint
The Highland Mint has released a limited-edition, 24kt gold coin series of PhotoMints titled “Hoops Heroes.” The first four players in the series are Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Garrett of the Boston Celtics, LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat.
Double-matted in team colors, protected underneath a glass panel and presented in a 13-by-16-inch wood frame, each PhotoMint includes an 8-by-10-inch customized and numbered color action photograph of the player exclusive to The Highland Mint, a 24kt gold overlay team coin and a 24kt gold overlay NBA coin.
An individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity including biographical information about the player is matted between the coins. Officially licensed by the NBA, each PhotoMint is limited to 1,000 pieces and carries a suggested retail price of $89.95.
