The booming billion-dollar sports card and memorabilia industry is an obvious fit for Charitybuzz, according to the company that has raised more than $500 million for various causes and continues to expand its offerings.
The Premiere Trading Card Auction is raising funds to benefit the Inspiring Children Foundation and its work to support vulnerable young people. For nearly two decades, the Foundation has been empowering children struggling with financial hardship, anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation by giving them the ultimate environment to survive and thrive at the highest levels.
“We are doing this the Charitybuzz way, by launching with a comprehensive curation of ultra-high-quality cards, and providing transparency about the items as well as the impact,” said Charitybuzz President Ben Erwin. “We know collectors and investors are seeking out these exact cards, and we’re thrilled to be able to bring them what they want, while contributing significant funds to support the Inspiring Children Foundation. We’re bringing it full circle. Card collecting often originates as a child’s hobby, sparking some joy at a young age; now, Charitybuzz is leveraging this flourishing industry to bring joy, safety, community and growth to kids who need it most.”
