Hope Solo’s World Cup collection coming to auction at Lelands
One of the greatest triumphs in World Cup history was the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup victory by the U.S. Women’s National Team.
The star of that team was Hope Solo, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and the greatest goalkeeper in women’s soccer history.
Solo’s personal collection of U.S. soccer memorabilia is coming up for bid in Lelands 2026 Summer Classic Auction, which runs July 26-Aug. 15.
The collection is headlined by Solo’s uniform from the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup title-clinching win, along with her championship ring.

Solo played in three World Cup tournaments, with her U.S. national team finishing third in 2007 and second in 2011. She won two Olympic gold medals and one World Cup championship during her 17-year career. She holds numerous goalkeeper records, including the most international shutouts (102), and was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2023.
The centerpiece of the 45-plus-lot collection are Solo's match-worn, signed, photo-matched jersey and shorts from the 2015 U.S. World Cup title-clinching victory over Japan and her ring from that triumph. According to Lelands, the uniform and ring are the “most significant women's soccer items ever offered in public auction.”
Also featured are the Golden Glove award Solo won as the 2015 tournament's top goalkeeper and her signed, match-worn, photo-matched jerseys from that year's quarterfinal and semifinal wins against China and Germany, respectively.
“With soccer's popularity in the U.S. reaching new heights around this World Cup, it felt like the right time to let these pieces of my career become part of this sport's history in new hands,” Solo said in a release from Lelands. “I hope whoever adds these pieces to their collections feels the same connection to this game that I have.”
A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit SheBelongs, a nonprofit organization that supports gender equality and opportunities for underserved young women.
“Hope Solo was the defining force of the USWNT's golden era and the record holder for most international wins and international shutouts by a goalkeeper,” said Jordan Gilroy, director of acquisitions at Lelands. “We're honored to offer these and other authentic pieces, including her World Cup championship ring, signed match-used memorabilia and Golden Glove awards.”
Also up for bid are Solo's 2014 CONCACAF Women's Championship Golden Glove award; 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Golden Glove; match-worn, signed, photo-matched jersey from the 2016 Olympics match against Colombia; a team-signed, match-used ball from her historic 100th international appearance) at the 2011 FIFA World Cup; and her 2015 ESPY Awards dress.
