Fernando Mendoza, top NFL rookies headline return of Topps Flagship Football
Heisman Trophy winner and No. 1 draft pick Fernando Mendoza is the top star of another intriguing NFL rookie class.
The Las Vegas Raiders quarterback has also been honored with another first—the inaugural No. 1 draft pick featured as the cover athlete of a Topps trading card set.

And in this case it’s the historic 2026 Topps Flagship Football set, which brings the iconic Topps brand back to the NFL for the first time since 2015.
The new release, which launched on Aug. 21, features NFL stars, top rookies and all-time greats. It is headlined by the first in-uniform auto cards of such rookies as Mendoza, RB Jeremiyah Love, WRs Carnell Tate and Jordyn Tyson and QB Ty Simpson, including on-card Flagship First Signatures and Flagship First Dual Signatures of top rookies.
The set also features such NFL stars as Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Caleb Williams, Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, along with legends Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Rob Gronkowski, and Ray Lewis.
Each Hobby Box of Topps Flagship Football includes 20 packs with 12 cards per pack and one auto or relic card. A Hobby Boxes retail for $129.99.
