Meet Topps Execs and Ask Questions at National, Plus Allen & Ginter Error

Author:

If you're looking to do something on Thursday during the National Convention (you know, aside from buying like crazy and racing through the show floor to see everything), Topps is holding a small gathering for a Q&A session.

Topps announced it will be holding a meet and greet session with 100 collectors next Thursday from 4-5:30 p.m. at the National Collector’s Convention in Chicago. Collectors interested in attending should stop by the Topps booth in the Corporate area to reserve a seat. Spots will be handed out on a first come-first serve basis.

In addition to discussing company and hobby happenings, Topps said it will give away random prizes and will be serving light snacks and refreshments.

In other Topps news, the company said that the Ryan Howard autographed card appearing on boxes of 2011 Allen & Ginter product is not on the checklist nor in the product.

Plus, Topps just announced it purchased the digital currency card company GMG Entertainment. For more information on that purchase and why Topps did it, please see the NEWS portion of the SCD website.
