Grantland’s Bill Simmons and Rembert Browne Crash the National Convention
With little jabs at the hobby here and there, Bill Simmons and fellow writer Rembert Browne take on The National, making the rounds and commenting all the while.
Bill Simmons once again traveled to the National Sports Collectors Convention. This time be brought along Rembert Browne to provide a give-and-take of the proceedings from Cleveland. The two are sports and pop culture junkies, so they had plenty to talk about.
The story is long, and they really did take in a lot of the show. You'll recognize a lot of the displays and dealers mentioned. And, as in the past with Simmons, they tend to poke fun at the hobby and the people in it, so take it in stride.
