Panini Trickles Out NHL Fan Fair Plans

As the NHL Fan Fair approaches, to be held this weekend, companies start to announce plans for the event. Panini is trickling out information, including details on a wrapper redemption program.

Today on the Panini Blog, the company has begun to announce plans for its first involvment in the NHL's All-star weekend festivities.

Here are some details on the wrapper redemption program. The show-exclusive 2011 NHL All-Star Game set will feature seven cards highlighting the 20th anniversary of the landmark 1990-91 Score Hockey release. The set will be limited to 500 copies and will be augmented by special insert cards, including one honoring the Carolina Hurricanes‘ Stanley Cup win.

The two-card redemption packs will also include randomly inserted Rookie NHL patch autographs as well as additional signatures from such current superstars as Sidney Crosby, Carey Price, Steve Stamkos, Taylor Hall and the Canes’ own Cam Ward, Eric Staal and Jeff Skinner; oh, there are also autographs of all-time legends like Patrick Roy and Steve Yzerman. Seriously.

Show-goers will receive one two-card NHL All-Star redemption pack for every three 2010-11 Panini America NHL hobby packs opened at the Panini America booth.
